Pennychoo is me, Sue Lee. I'm a graphic designer and illustrator based in South West London. As you can see, I live my life entirely in sepia, I squint all the time, and tragically, that isn't my truck.
I've always liked vintage stuff, generally from the first half of the 20th century, and more specifically from the 1940s and 50s, and I started wondering if I could translate all this old stuff I love into something new that other people might like too. And so Pennychoo was born.
I'm a bit of a visual magpie, as you can see; always on the lookout for colours, patterns, motifs... I try to take the elements that attract me and use them in a new way.
Remember: if you like what you see, tell others, and if you don't, well, just remember there's more to this design lark than wearing statement glasses and colouring inside the lines, alright?
